Felice Bar/Restaurant, Barcelona

We were advised that there were a number of really good restaurants in the Gracia area of Barcelona so we decided to explore for our evening meal. We found the Felice on Calle Francisco Giner and we had a lovely meal. We were drawn to the restaurant because at the end of a street we saw this restaurant with a welcoming glow coming from a gas column heater
For starters we both shared freshly made artisan bread with hummus , black olive tapenade and garlic and basil butter. John had fish curry with basmati rice and I had spare ribs served with corn on the cob and jacket potato topped with cheesy sour cream. Both were delicious. The food was accompanied with a bottle of red Ribera del Duero which was equally delicious
The co-owner, Desiree, was very pleasant and, as the restaurant wasn’t too busy, we spent a pleasant 20 minutes chatting to her in perfect English after the meal.
We will return again on our next visit next year.
