Mirador el Roqueo – Conil de la Frontera

A meal at el Mirador tonight proves that us Brits eat too early. We booked for 7.30pm and arrived to an empty restaurant. When will we learn. This is a good fish restaurant and the meat selection is adequate.
Prawn and avocado salad plus pork fillet and chips. Fritilita (prawn fritters) and steak with chips. A good bottle of Ribera del Duero (protos crianza) €89 plus tip.
The restaurant is perched on the top of the cliffs with views across to the west. Sunsets would be amazing at other times of year but sadly in January the restaurant opens after dark.
Good service and excellent surroundings.
