Our friends Anita and Beat from Switzerland took us to El Jardin de Kalifa and what a gem. Situated in Vejer which is a beautiful moorish town perched on the side of a big hill in Andalusia. It is as impressive as Granada and Córdoba. The one thing it doesn’t have is the ability to accommodate large tourist groups which, to be honest is a plus in our eyes.
The food is a mixture of Moroccan, Lebanese, Libyan. We sat outside in the garden on the 4 January and it was lovely. Great service and every course delighted our taste buds. A very well written menu in all languages puts you at ease with excellent descriptions to entice you. We will return and try the other things on the menu. 10/10
One negative would be the accessibility so I would check first if you have difficulties.
